"Like Mazzy Star having slow three-way sex with krautrock and psychedelic desert blues on a hot summer night," Buddy Girl and Mechanic garnered critical acclaim for their self-titled debut album, which was picked out as one of the best records of 2013 by The Japan Times. On their new record the indie rock group expands their sonic register with glockenspiels and Okinawan sanshin while preserving a distinctive electronic dimension that they have been evolving in live performances as well as on Japanese compilations released by the Ano(t)racks label. This album displays the band's affinity for psychedelic textures and lyrical playfulness as they explore themes like the layers of time and fragmentation of distances.

2014年サンダンス映画祭で全米オタクの注目を集めたネクラ女子映画「Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter」(監督：デヴィッド・ゼルナー、主演：菊地凛子)にて使用された”Mechanic Nonsense”を含む2ndアルバム。
SF小説のような歌詞と、沖縄の古典楽器である三線、ドイツのトイ・グロッケンシュピエル等アナログ楽器を使用したヴォーカル/シンセ担当のXirohの宅録における浮遊するアイデアを、ベテランのメンバー達が3Dの飛び出るような音でもって具現化しながら、彼等のダークで落ち着いた印象を裏切ることに成功している。
